I started at 15 trying to understand how computers were broken into and defended. With no computer of my own, I learned in internet cafés, on friends' PCs and on a tablet. By 2019 I was building sites for clients. Since then, I've delivered client-facing apps, taught, supported networks, led student and hackathon teams, and built backend systems, mobile apps and AI applications. My client work and entrepreneurship training also prepare me to work directly with users as a Forward Deployed Engineer: understanding a real-world need and carrying the solution through implementation and delivery. Today I bring those experiences together as a software and AI/ML engineer, based in Ghana and open to remote work.

The through-line is the same from my first scripts to the products I build today: find a problem, learn what I need, and build until people can use it.
I became curious about ethical hacking: how systems are defended and how malicious software works. With no computer of my own, I learned on internet-café machines, friends' PCs and a tablet, using Programming Hub, Alison and Script Kiddie. I wrote Bash scripts to chain security tools and a Python script to find subdomains and signs of a firewall, then learned C++ and assembly to understand what software does closer to the hardware.
I began independent contracting, building WordPress sites and setting up a BoonEx Dolphin social network for Glory Life Church. That year I also became a part-time system administrator at Glory Life Ministry International, supporting Linux and Windows machines, accounts, backups and networks, and automating routine work with Python. I stayed in that role through 2022.
I taught Mathematics, Integrated Science and Computing at Joy Academy and prepared students for the BECE. Some students achieved Grade 1, including 95% and 90% in Computing and 80% in Mathematics. In the second half of 2021 I worked in IT support at Duapa Werkspace in Takoradi. I also led a team that won first place at the Takoradi Annual Startup Summit with an emergency-response security app.
At Takoradi Technical University I led programming for the Google Developer Student Club, taught C++ and Python, and mentored student teams. I was also IT lead and PR officer for a Kosmos Innovation Center AgriTech Classic team. I completed my HND in Information Technology with First Class honours in 2024. That year, after training from the Ghana Statistical Service, my team combined cleaned Statsbank.com data with live IoT sensor readings and CatBoost models to earn Regional Second Place at the GSS Data Hackathon with EMITAL.
Much of this work ran in parallel as part-time or freelance contracts. At Sawtel Ghana I built Node.js transaction pipelines connecting airtime and data platforms with telecom providers; they have processed more than 100,000 transactions with no recorded security incidents. I built custom-CMS websites for Boten Ltd and EBEYE General Services in Equatorial Guinea. Since August 2024 I have worked as the sole ML engineer at SolarAFX AI on models for algorithmic gold trading. I completed national service as an IT support specialist with the Ghana Navy from October 2024 to September 2025.
At Mpontuo Health Technologies I led software and AI engineering across healthcare, food-delivery and pharmacy platforms. I led engineering work on a multi-tenant microservices backend and worked on four role-specific AhotoEats apps for customers, riders, agents and vendors. I also built Bufalo AI, an internal platform for research-data extraction and lineage tracking, with automated retries and controlled quarantine reprocessing. The platform helped reduce weekly market-research turnaround from about four days to real-time workflows.
Outside client and product work, I publish CoNET, a Python package for multi-agent systems, on PyPI; have published research on ResearchGate about reducing latency when translating natural-language questions into database queries; and build a red-teaming framework to test whether language models stay truthful over long conversations. I have about seven years in technology. I approach AI as a software engineer: the model matters, and so do the APIs, data pipelines and deployment that make it useful. I am based in Ghana and open to remote work. The church network, the classroom, telecom pipelines and food-delivery apps all started that way.
